Is there an ETA for Jabber for Mac to support Deskphone Video? This is a confusing discussion to have with customers when Mac clients *must* be in softphone mode in order to support video calls. (for most standard deskphone models)
Not planned at this point there are a number of factors in play here that make this problematic e.g. Dependency on MSI/CDP Driver plus the direction apple appears to be heading with regard to reducing USB, Lan ports etc

Makes sense. Apple likes to stick to their ecosystem. Are there any solutions on the horizon beyond asking Jabber for Mac users to "softphone if you want video"
