I'm into the viability of integrating Sales Force with hosted Jabber and at the beginning steps. I notice there is an overview of the configuration process but there appears to be some missing information.
Step 4a. refers to exchanging a URL for a local HTTP server address. Its not clear from the deployment instructions what this server does. Do we need to setup some sort of HTTP proxy server?
Search for and replace all occurrences of the following URLs:
Ultimately, the instructions suggest an on-premise CUPS server. Can we use the same SDK and point to a URL for the hosted webEx connect Jabber service?
Any thoughts or comments are appreciated.

Hi Brian,
The server should be the server that is hosting the Jabber SDK (In this case, the demo file). The SDK will then talk to the BOSH server on a on-premise CUPS server.
Currently the Jabber SDK (CAXL) has two versions of SDK for different deployment. I never tried it myself but perhaps you can replace the *.js from the folder common\jabber with the hosted version to allow you to connect to webEx connect.
Thanks,
Howard
