Mute incoming audio on a SIP call through macro

Dear Community members,

I am trying to use a Cisco Codec Plus to connect to an external conference via SIP and receive interpretation audio from another Audio only service at the same time.

Therefore I use the multipoint capability of the Cisco Codec Plus (plus one audio) to establish 2 simultaneous SIP calls.
1 video call to the conference and 1 audio call to the interpretation service.

I can mute/unmute myself in the conference and hold/resume the call to the interpretation service when needed, the only issue I have is that I continuously receive the audio from the conference (incoming audio) and I can’t find any xAPI command to mute the call or modify the audio volume (I can only mute the speaker of the device but then I can’t hear interpretation, or put the conference call on hold but then I don’t have video anymore…).

I was wondering if anyone had the same need and found a solution to this use case.

Thanks

Just speculating, and not familiar with multipoint mode, but it sounds like you want to mute the multipoint conference video participant?  Perhaps https://roomos.cisco.com/xapi/Command.Conference.Participant.Mute

Thanks for the speculation but in my case I don't have "Participant" capabilities on my call.

I found that a setting can be queried using https://roomos.cisco.com/xapi/Status.MediaChannels.Call[n].Channel[n].Audio.Mute but there's no xAPI to modify it...
