Security In Cisco IM and Presence

Can anyone tell me if the communication between clients(over the network) using Jabber API is secure or not i.e from client to cisco server.

Yes, you can set the IM&P server to use a secure connection.

If your IM & Presence server is already set up correctly, just go to System->Security->Settings.  Check the box next to Enable Web Client to IM/P Service Secure Mode.  You need to restart the Cisco XCP Web Connection Manager for the change to take effect.  (You do that from the Serviceability UI.)
