Is it possible to lock down the video resolution on web and mobile devices? if so , can it be done via expert assist SDK or does it require advanced CSDK?

Hi,
Expert assist SDK uses 640*480 and there is no way to ask for another resolution.
The advanced CSDK allows you to call UC.phone.setPreferredVideoCaptureResolution on web or SetPreferredCaptureResolution on mobile.
These calls are requests to the OS and there is no guarantee they can or will be honoured on all systems.

Rob

Thanks Rob. Customers concern is specific to limited Internet bandwidth between CSDK and Media Broker. As I understand, dynamic video resolution is not supported currently by Media Broker. I would like to know what are the potential factors which prevents successful negotiation of configured bandwidth between CSDK and MB
Thanks
