Router crash with "infotag get evt_handoff dnis"

Time ago I reported that in any IOS version after 15.1 it was not possible anymore to retrieve DNIS when the script is started via ev_handoff.

Now I find that accessing the infotag  that is supposed to return this information cause the router to crash. This is with 15.2(4)M7, a version branded ED and with a star badge. The problem is 100 % reproducible with the following script and configuration.

proc handoff {} {puts "dnis [infotag get evt_handoff dnis]"}

set fsm(INIT,ev_handoff)   "setup    same_state"

fsm define fsm INIT

dial-peer voice 1 voip
service test out-bound

session target loopback:rtp

Attached crashfile in case anyone from Cisco wants to do something about it.

Hi,

Does't show fixes in 15.2 or 15.3 ?

What Cisco will do about ?

Known Fixed Releases:
(8)
15.4(3)M0.3

15.4(3)S0.5

15.5(0.17)T

15.5(0.18)S0.3

15.5(0.20)PI27a

15.5(0.20)PI27b

15.5(1.1)S

15.5(1.2.1a)GB

Fix will not be available in 15.2 or 15.3 but will be released in 15.4 and later versions.

Thanks,

Raghavendra

Why not in 15.2 or 15.3 ? Customers wanting to use an MD release have to suffer bugs? It's actually a crash, not "moderate".

I think crash happened because of using the infotag command, this is fixed in later releases.

please check with fixed releases and see your issue is resolved.

Thanks,

Raghavendra

It appears to be working in 15.4(3)M1

Very bad to not have fixes for other versions that are "Cisco Suggested release based on software quality, stability and longevity."
