CSCwd07558 - Access Control Policy Deployments failing after upgrading to 7.0.4 on SFR Managed by ASDM

Cisco says that the bug is fixed in Firepower release 7.0.5. However, the sensor 7.0.4 to 7.0.5 upgrade fails. Bug documentation says that there is a hotfix Cisco_Network_Sensor_Hotfix_BR-7.0.4.1-1.sh.REL.tar but it's nowhere to be found.

I want to avoid reimaging the Firepower because I would have to create all the rules and configuration as backups/restores and imports only work for the same version of the Firepower sensor. I have TAC case open, but no good solution yet.

I have the same issue and I find it hard to believe that Cisco have this firmware listed as suggested stable version.

I have a TAC case open but their support I find has been getting worse.

I had another firewall which failed an upgrade that corrupted the database so reimaged to 7.0.5 which worked fine.

Cisco was able to provide the patch file which corrected our 7.0.4-55 corrupt upgrade issues. I agree, this version should be pulled.

Just FYI, patch does not fix fresh 7.0.4-55 image. Just go to 7.0.5.
