Is this bug for 5500 series, 4400 series or both?
Mine is 5508 with 8.2.164 and hit this bug.

Cisc TAC is saying; From the bug details there is not update as it is for a device which is end of support but mine is 5508 and running with 8.2.166. Anyone received answer from TAC with 5508?

Hi All,
This is a known issue effected on almost all 8.2.x code as well.
I was running 8.2.166.x.
was seeing the error message on console.
Rebooting the controller fixed the issue, If not you can upgrade to 8.3.170.0 or 8.3.143.x

Hi Peter,
We have a "couple" of WLCs in our ladscape but it is only the one with HA setup that I get this issue on. So may I ask you if you are running HA setup on your WLC as well?
We are getting this issue on both 8.0.x and 8.2.x train (We have tried different version within the train but with same result).
8.2.170 was the best we had until now (It lasted for 4 weeks).
Cisco's workaround is reboot, but that is getting painful when you have many WLCs and the issue happens every second week.

Hi, I have WLC 3504 with 8.5.151.0 version and the same issue is present.
The WLC loses the administration approximately every 4 weeks.
The log is the same
