I have seen an article describing this bug. No fix is planned by Cisco. But it is unclear what is advised if we have switches affected by this behavior. I have some questions:

What is advised by Cisco, when this bug occurs?

How often can this happen? Device has restarted several times, but now running for over a month

Any options to avoid this behavior to occur?

Is there a possibility for you to connect a computer and console cable directly to the stack and collect console logs for days and weeks?
The reason why I'm asking is because the details (or lack of) of this bug is "wanting". There are no real details that will make anyone say "a-ha!". Instead, this bug is being used as a "fall guy": If the service request is none of the above then use this bug instead.

The same problem.
WS-C2960X-24PSQ-L reboots once a month with no reason.
The switch was bought less than year ago. Very dissapointed by Cisco product quality.
I hope I catch something in console.

If the switch re-boots monthly, then RMA the switch.

In our case, we created a Cisco TAC case. After some investigations, the switch has been replaced by Cisco.
