CSCvf14897 - Prime Infrastructure Device unreachable for SNMP V3 Credentials after SNMP engineID is modified

Hi Guys,

 

The workaround provided doesn't work for me. There is no known software release version that fixes the issue. Anyone encountered this issue and resolved it?

Hi,

 

I have the same issue.  With snmpv3 only partial discoveries. With snmpv2 it works immediatly.

 

The bug workaround did not help.

I was able to switch to SNMPv2, synchronize.  I tried switching back to SNMPv3 but still received the same error.

I came across this issue and had to recreate the SNMPv3 credentials on the WLC as a workaround. SNMPv3 reach-ability from Prime Infrastructure to WLC stopped working when I had to do a HW replacement of the WLC. 

Prime Infrastructure Version - 3.8

8540 WLC Firmware Version - 8.5.161.0
