When I look up bug ID CSCvm81418 - I get referred to the bug in the title above. How does the bug in the title above compare with the following when I search in the Bug Lookup tool:
Symptom: A device crashes, and the last process to be handled is "Entity MIB API". This crash root cause is a memory depletion failure, and "Entity MIB API" just responds to the lack of available memory, any type of memory
Bug ID CSCvf50648 says bug CSCvm81418 is a duplicate of CSCvf50648.
Bug CSCvf50648 concerns CDP security issue
Bug CSCvm81418 concerns memory depletion failure
My Cisco 3650 crashed due to the following:
UNIX-EXT-SIGNAL: Segmentation fault(11), Process = Entity MIB API and when I look this up it points to CSCvm81418.
Did Cisco incorrectly label CSCvm81418 as a duplicate of CSCvf50648? That's what it appears to be. CSCvf50648 could lead to a memory depletion error but I see no reference in this bug that points to "UNIX-EXT-SIGNAL: Segmentation fault(11), Process = Entity MIB API" as a symptom for CSCvf50648.
