CSCvg52180 - ISR4000 ROMMON upgrade fails on certain IOS-XE 16.x releases

Hi All,

We upgraded our ISR 4321 this morning from IOS XE Everest 16.6.2 to IOS XE Fuji 16.7.2 and encountered this error message when upgrading ROMMON from 16.7(1r) to 16.7(3r). We had the ip subnet-zero command in our configuration and all we did is removed this "no ip subnet-zero" then rebooted and tried ROMMON upgrade which was successfull.

We are in the process of upgrading 100s of ISR4K, both 43 and 4400s and have run into this bug on three so far.   I'll try to provide status as we progress but figure there will be many more to come.

Hi all,

I have the same problem with one ISR 4331 running 03.16.07b.S.155-3.S7b.

Another ISR 4331 running the same config was upgraded sucessfully.
