We had a trunked uplink port G1/1/2 admin shut. After reloading we got this error message. Running Cisco C9200L-48P-4G running 17.3.3. This was in a stack of 4 9200s. Had to disconnect all cables and stack cables, switch booted up like normal. So 17.3.3 did not fix this issue.

Hi,
I also have this issue. Did you ever find the root cause or a workaround? I'm about to raise a TAC but wanted to know more information before I do.
Regards

I've got a C9200L-24P-4G on 17.3.3 with the same error.

I used two 9200L-48T-4X-E as stack, and also found "i2c i2c-3: SCL is stuck low, exit recovery" messages.
When disconnecting the stack and restarting the stack, the second switch kept restarting,Enter rommon mode after restarting several times

Hi,
Any update on this? I've got a stack of two C9200L-24P-4G-E's (running 17.06.04.0.4912) where unit 1 failed and went into a reboot loop. I had to disconnect the cable from stack port 1/1 (to 2/2) to be able to boot the switch ok.. I repatched the connections from unit 1 to unit 2 (its used as a DMZ switch for server connections).
However last night I reconnected the stack cable again but I got repeated logs. Am I looking at H/W replacement?
