Fix this issue:
Move HA/Failover Link to other ports than port 1/7 + 1/8, if possible.
- Break HA
- Move the physical cable(s) used for HA link
- Establish HA again
Disable PoE on port 1/7 + 1/8 -> Deploy config
Try to upgrade now.
Iif it fails do the following (The following is at own risk!!)
- Login to CLI on the FTD
- Type "expert" + Enter
- Type "sudo su -" + Enter
If you earlier tried to upgrade to version 6.6.0 type this to move the old install folder, if you don't the upgrade will fail again:
- Type "mv /ngfw/var/log/sf/Cisco_FTD_SSP_FP1K_Upgrade-6.6.0 /ngfw/var/tmp/"
If you earlier tried to upgrade to version 6.6.1 type this to move the old install folder, if you don't the upgrade will fail agai:
- Type "mv /ngfw/var/log/sf/Cisco_FTD_SSP_FP1K_Upgrade-6.6.1 /ngfw/var/tmp/"
After this try to upgrade again from GUI.
This did the trick for me.
You can follow along the upgrade by typing these commands (first possible after you're being logged out of GUI after beginning the upgrade):
"cd /ngfw/var/log/sf/Cisco_FTD_SSP_FP1K_Upgrade-6.6.1/" + Enter
Then:
"tail -f status.log" + Enter
