Nexus 6K: Slow bootflash causes install upgrade to fail

Hi there,

I'm trying to do the upgrade for my cisco nexus 5672U switch but I'm obtaining the error messages below:

sh install all impact kickstart n6000-uk9-kickstart.7.3.13.N1.1.bin system n6000-uk9.7.3.13.N1.1.bin

Verifying image bootflash:/n6000-uk9-kickstart.7.3.13.N1.1.bin for boot variable "kickstart".
[####################] 100% -- SUCCESS

Verifying image bootflash:/n6000-uk9.7.3.13.N1.1.bin for boot variable "system".
[# ] 0% -- FAIL. Return code 0x40820011 (Job timedout).

Install has failed. Image verification failed (0x40930011)

Is there anyone faced the same issue as mine? And may I know what should I do for the upgrade?

The Current version is System version: 7.3(8)N1(1)

Hello @crazyboyjeff,

Do you have enough space on your nexus 5672U?

Run the command: show file <filename> md5sum and check the result with the md5 checksum on the software.cisco.com

Yes, the space is enough and the file is corrected as well.

I have seen this issue, if the device long up time - try to reboot and test it.

It was, Kernel uptime is 280 day(s), 18 hour(s), 28 minute(s), 50 second(s) <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

But I rebooted the switch, Kernel uptime is 0 day(s), 0 hour(s), 20 minute(s), 5 second(s)<<<<<<<<<<<<

It did't work neither, process still stays in, 

Notifying services about system upgrade.

[####################] 100% -- FAIL. Return code 0x4093007C (Issu cannot be done, bootflash is busy). <<<<<<<<<

Install has failed. Issu cannot be done, bootflash is busy (0x4093007C)

i tried but it didn't work, i also made a reload on the device before attempting again, but it also did not work

Do you have any EEM Script or some other task running writing to Flash ?
