Anyone know of Freeware NETWORK Drawing applications?

Hi,

I'm looking for freeware network drawing application. Can anyone recommend one?

 

I like Visio but not in budget right now.

In the list below, I have placed links for free diagramming applications. As mentioned in other responses, Dia is certainly a useful tool, but there are other options available as well.

1.     Network Notepad (http://www.networknotepad.com/index.shtml)

2.     Cade (http://www.weresc.com/cade.php)

3.     Dia (https://wiki.gnome.org/Apps/Dia/Download)

I hope this helps you, and gives you a good idea of some of the tools that are available for working on a budget!

Visio is ok, but I prefer doing my network diagrams in Powerpoint, if only to annoy project managers!

Dia is ok:

I also use DIA. It's very light, has an intuitive UI and usually has everything that I need.
