Hi Craig,

I appreciate you asking before posting the listing.  Unfortunately, we do not allow job postings on CSC.  Our concern is if we allowed this type of activity the site would be inundated with headhunter postings and it would dilute the technical content on the community.  In the past we have considered opening a specific "job board" community. I could revisit the topic with our team if there is interest.  I'd be curious to hear others thoughts?

I would not mind as long as it was separate from the technical posts, after all that is the main reason we are here, but Rob is correct, with this economy things like that may be welcomed and needed. Maybe you could make it so a company must apply and be approved to post any initial discussions but everyone can respond to a post. I think that would help keep it down to legit businesses and you could easily shut someone down.

Thank you all for getting back to me, I will respect the decsion made here and I am very open to the possibility of  Job page. 80% of

my roles are Cisco Centric.

Please do let me know if you decide to open a Job Board or Page in the Cafe.
