2960-Plus 24LC-L issue with lanlite image

HI all,

According to Cisco site 2960-Plus 24LC-L switch should support lanlite image "c2960-lanlitek9-mz.152-2.E6.bin ", but i am unable to boot the switch with this image. It goes into booting loop showing error " THE HARDWARE IS NOT SUPPORTED BY FIRMWARE "

Switch Model : c2960-lanlitek9-mz.152-2.E6.bin

IOS tried : c2960-lanlitek9-mz.152-2.E6.bin, c2960-lanlitek9-mz.152-2.E7.bin

but the switch is working fine with lanbase image.

can anyone help me to find out the exact reason for this behavior?

That is not the "switch model".  

What is the exact model of the switch?

Hi there,

The feature set lanlite/ lanbase is fixed to switch and cannot be changed by either licensing or IOS images.

If you have a lanbase switch then stick with those images. Besides the lanbase feature set is superior to that offered by lanlite.
