Add Wireless AP to map in Catalyst Centre.

We are deploying an external wireless mesh lan and will be leveraging Catalyst Centre.

How can I add  access points to a site map so we can see where the AP's are located on the street for a support perspective.

Seems to only support a floor map, which is useless.

Apparently this used to work but has either been moved or removed .

@Garry Cooper

  Take the map for the outdoor area and add it as a new floor then place the Access Point.

"Outdoor Areas: Outdoor areas can reside under Global or under areas or sites. Similar to floors, you can add them with or without maps. If you decide to use maps, you can manually create them or import them from files, such as DXF, DWG, JPG, GIF, PNG, or PDF file types. Then you can position your wireless devices on the maps to visualize your wireless network coverage. "

Thanks for the reply

The only problem with that is the mesh covers alot of area, and was hoping you could use it the same as in the Global map in dnac.

This allow dynamic zooming.
