Hello all,
I'm looking for some help with disabling or bypassing the Firepower module on a Cisco ASA 5516. When these units were purchased I was just barely learning how to manage a Cisco ASA and had no idea what Firepower was. I understand the ASA management much more now but Firepower is not something I'm looking to dive into just yet.
Here's some background information:
Pair of Cisco ASA 5516 with FirePOWER in high availability (active/standby mode)
Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance Software Version 9.6(4)12
Device Manager Version 7.9(2)152
FirePOWER Software version 5.4.1-211
My specific problem is setting up a public facing PAT and I can't get this to work. I believe the Firepower policies are not letting this through.
Lastly, this is in a remote site and in production. I can't take these offline without losing access to them myself.
Any help anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated. Apologies in advance for any missing information or confusion caused by my limited understanding.
