Does breaking the PnP agent discovery on switch boot up still allow it to be Day-0 provisioned via Catalyst Centre after applying some manual config to the switch via console CLI to be able to reach the appliance controller?
The reason being that we are potentially looking to implement an SD-WAN in the near future, which will make this process a lot easier to implement, but in the interim, we are still using an MPLS WAN where the routers are managed by a third party and the switches form EIGRP between them and the router to advertise routes, and then it goes via tunnels and BGP from the router to our DC, where the controller is. We have a large network estate with over 500+ sites.
Our current solution is we have a dedicated upstream device that we connect the switches to for provisioning and then take them to site to install swap. We would prefer it if we could do this on site instead.
