I am running 2.3.5.6.  I can't log into GUI with either Maglev or Admin profile.  I have access to the CICM and SSH.  Can anyone help me figure out what is going on?

Hi Tony,

You cannot log into the GUI with maglev, that would only be for the SSH access. Can you provide the output of the following please:

magctl appstack status -f

I was just trying anything.

$ magctl appstack status -f
NAMESPACE NAME READY STATUS RESTARTS AGE IP NODE NOMINATED NODE READINESS GATES
maglev-system cscwe15923-ckhln 0/1 Completed 0 22h 169.254.41.210 169.254.6.67 <none> <none>
maglev-system install-hotfix-cscwe15923-node-0-24t8b 0/1 Completed 0 22h 169.254.6.67 169.254.6.67 <none> <none>
maglev-system license-service-cleanup-job-x85tr 0/1 Completed 0 23h 169.254.41.157 169.254.6.67 <none> <none>
maglev-system release-job-2533e017-09cb-45ce-a2c3-1fdedd29fb61-packages-8m8fh 0/1 Completed 0 23h 169.254.41.172 169.254.6.67 <none> <none>

So I finally figured out what was going on.   I ran the command magctl rbac external_auth_fallback display and it came back false.  So I then ran  magctl rbac external_auth_fallback enable and now I can log into the GUI.

Yea, so then you must have enabled external fallback as that is the only time local fallback is disabled. At that point, you are right, enabling local fallback via the CLI is the way to regain access through a local account.
