This is not a Catalyst Center feature. SWIM does not push configuration changes to devices outside of setting the image, activating the image, and cleaning up the inactive images.

My guess is that you attempted to remove the IP address from the interface marked as the intracluster link, which is not allowed. Also, a gateway is required on at least one interface to progress.
