Hello All
Could someone please clarify if the WLAN heatmap in DNAC only reflects the RF calculations made by the APs and WLC or does the AP placement on the heatmap have any influence on the calculations?
For example in a room with 2 APs, I decide to move one AP to another location but still have 2 APs in my heatmap. Will the existing AP increase its range to accommodate the missing AP or do nothing since the heatmap still has 2 APs in that room.
Thanks

Heatmap on DNA-C paint the signal strength as seen by every AP, so no calculations here. This is real RF as seen from every AP point of view.
If you move the AP on the floor plan, RF does not change, as this change does not trigger any power change on the AP.
