We are going to deploy Cisco SDA-DNA where we have existing Cisco 2504 WLC running in the production network. We are planning to keep the Cisco 2504 WLC and deploy the Wireless in SDA in OTT method using the existing Cisco 2504 WLC where the Access Point to be used are Cisco 3800 Series.
Is it possible to use Cisco 2504 as OTT method in Cisco SDA.
The articles that I have common across says that for OTT method the WLC model should not matter however the Access Point should be compatible with the SDA compatibility matrix.
Can anyone suggest me the same?

In OTT deployments, both WLC model and AP model doesn't matter.
As far as the AP is not using VXLAN, you don't care what the model is.
I tested 1040 AP with OTT deployment, and it works fine ( just like any other network host you may connect to the edge switches)
so you are safe to go.
