It really depends on how your network is designed. The ultimate goal is to have as few templates as possible so that when you need to make a change, you only need to make it in one place. That means your templates could just be called, "Router", "Switch", or "Wireless". Even if you have different hardware models, you can usually utilize a single template by taking advantage of VTL or Jinja if/else conditions and some of the system variables that can detect which platform is being provisioned. If you are using Composite templates, then it probably makes sense to name the sub-templates based on the feature.
