Greetings, I have three 9300L switches and a 9300X. I need to stack these switches. I do not have any modules or stacking cables. Can you let me know what is required to stack all of these devices together? I will need modules and cables. It looks like the 9300X uses a different cable and I do not see how it connects to the 9300L. Thank You.

The following are restrictions for your switch stack configuration:
Only homogenous stacking is supported, that is, a stack of Cisco Catalyst 9300 Series Switches stack with only Cisco Catalyst 9300 Series Switches as stack members.
Cisco Catalyst 9300L Series Switches stack with only Cisco Catalyst 9300L Series Switches as stack members.
C9300-24UB, C9300-24UXB, and C9300-48UB switches can only be stacked with each other.
During a switchover, when the standby device syncs with the active device, the following log message is displayed on the console:
%SM-4-BADEVENT: Event 'standby_phy_link_up' is invalid for
the current state 'NO_NEIGHBOR': rep_lsl_rx Gix/x/x -Traceback=
Ignore this message. It does not have any functional or operational impact.
You cannot have a switch stack containing a mix of different license levels.

Yes I would stack all the C9300Ls together, and connect to the C9300X with a trunk (over fiber optics).

Hello!
As far as I know you cannot stack fixed uplink models (C9300L SKUs) with modular uplink models (C9300 and C9300X). The problem is the stacking speed, you even have different stacking cable models STACK-T1 for modular and STACK-T3 for fixed uplink model.

I read that it can be done using StackWise 480 architecture? Can someone confirm if this is not the case?

I see. Thank you for your reply. So the move would be to stack the 9300Ls, and use a fiber SFP for the 9300X connectivity?

Yes I would stack all the C9300Ls together, and connect to the C9300X with a trunk (over fiber optics).

Thank you so much!

9300L can only be stacked to itself.
The 9300L stacking cable is completely unique and would not fit into a plain 9300/9300X.
