Hopefully a simple question.
When making a template for day 0 provisioning I've got a password that contains a $ symbol. Which is being recognized as an input for variable. After a couple of google searches I cannot find an escape character for velocity like there would be for python such as \
router isis example domain-password My$password
How would I create the password above in a template editor as a literal?

In the Form Editor tab of the Template Editor (the second of the 3 pea green tiles in the upper right corner) you can mark the password variable as "not a variable" then save the template. I think that will meet your requirement.
