virtual DNAC on Nutanix

Hi,

I am trying to install dnac as virtual appliance on Nutanix as a lab, I am using an ISO file version 2.3.5.6, I know there is an OVA, but I have not been able to make it work in Nutanix.

For the VM I put 32 cpus, 256 Gb Ram and 3 discs, 500Gb, 1T and 1T

The ISO file runs the maglev installer, but is never able to finish the  installation and I get this error:

 I was able to download all the packages manually

But I cannot deploy all the packages

There is always a message like this

DEPLOYMENT_ERROR - Exception in package: ndp-platform, kind: ServiceBundle, name: pipelineruntime-taskmgr-spa-apps - 'pipelineruntime-taskmgr-spa-apps 5.1.22' took more than the expected '350' seconds to start. Please review the service logs for errors.

I have tried reinstalling many times, also adding more resources to the VM, but I am not sure what is the problem here, does anyone can please provide some advice?

 - Try to observe online memory and CPU usage when the VM is being deployed , look if some resources get exhausted for instance ,

Out of interest, did the install on Nutanix eventually worked? What is the status on this?

Nutanix is currently not supported. Only ESXi on vCenter/VmWare is. Support for Azure and Nutanix is in development.

Outside of that, you cannot create a VM using the ISO. The requirements are different. You need at least 44 cores and 256 memory, for example. If you are trying to run a VM, then you should be using the OVA.
