port channel betfween fabric and switch says link is down

i configured 40G port channel between switch and fabric but the port channel is showing as down and link is down. any idea?

Sounds like a Layer 1 failure of SFP/Cable, etc. I would make sure you can get the link up individually before attempting to apply port channel configurations.
