Can't start nodes in CML 2.4

Except for the unmanaged switch all nodes give this error msg when started:

iosvl2: Failed to start (Unable to start KVM node: f827396-dbf0-4791-8a94-ca7bfcdde6 KVM domain could not be started)

This is a new install, CML license is valid and green in CML.

i believe you missing ISO file or make sure VT-X supported compute :

what is your environment - esxi- bare metal, VMWARE workstation?

VMWare Fusion 12.2.5. I created the VM from the ova then pointed it to the refplat iso and it spent several minutes loading the licenses. The devices are listed in CML as available but I get that error msg.
