CML free - system is no licensed

Hi,

today I've installed CML free  version (VMware image) for the second time (trashed the first VM) and when I start a single node, I get this error message:

Starting node failed: Licensing issue: System is not licensed.

As far as I know the free version should work without a license, so I'm surprised to get this message.

Does someone know what I can do to make the free version work?  Thanks in advance.

CML 2.7.2 build 26 on Windows 11

Hi @hermann24 , CML Free is only supported from version 2.8. Please do a fresh install of 2.8 or do an in-place upgrade to 2.8. https://software.cisco.com/download/home/286193282/type/286326381/release/2.8.0
