CML2 - CSR1000v 'does not support user settable MTU'

Hey guys, so I was trying to follow along with a lab video posted on CBT Nuggets where they are using CML and a pair of NX-OS 9000v switches and a CSR1000v router... Got to the point where interface MTU size needed to be changed to 9216 but the CSR pops up with an error: "% Interface GigabitEthernet1 does not support user settable mtu."

In the video, they did not encounter this issue. Does anyone know why this is occurring or what steps I can take to be able to change the MTU size?

Which version of CML and IOS-XE are you running?

Funny, I ran into the same problem following the same video from Jeff Kish

I wasn't able to get 9216 MTU to work, but it had no problem with an MTU of 1550, which should be sufficient for VXLAN.

I had the same issue.
I replaced the CSR1000v with an IOSv router, which allowed me to change the MTU. In my environment, it works perfectly for host-to-host ping tests.
