Hello,
I have been unable to get a CML IOSv router to reach a real router. My goal is to establish BGP peering between the CML LAB and the real network which is a small hardware lab. I have attached a diagram which shows the topology and provides details about ip addressing and reachability.
In a nut shell the CML server can reach both the IOSv router and the real router (the Gateway). The real router can ping the CML bridgport IP but not the IOSv router.
Thank you for any help you can provide.
Gary

The issue turned out to be a configuration setting on the ESXi host. Forged Transmits were disabled (by default in vSphere v5.1 and later) in Network properties.
Page 15 of the install guide states:
"Note: Ensure that the values for MAC Address Changes and Forged Transmits are also set to their default value
of Accept. "
