I've tried in free CML with no luck. However wanting to know if maybe any of the paid CML's may offer this feature in a node?

Hello @ComeFromTheLandDownUnder,
yes, you can use the REP protocol in CML with the Catalyst 9000v node type.
CML-Free only includes the IOL node types which do not support it. However, if you go for CML-Personal then you get access to many other node types including the Cat9000v.
Be aware that this node requires 4 vCPUs and 12 GB of RAM per instance so that your pc needs to have sufficient cores and RAM to support larger topologies.
HTH!
