Unable to receive IP add on Desktop from DHCP server on ios_xe router

I configured the router connected to the LAN as a DHCP server, but issuing the command "ifconfig" and "ifconfig /renew" does not work. Please help!

By no means an expert here from what read the Alpine desktop node has DCHP enabled by default. Other have opted to import a u Ubuntu Linux image instead.

On the same Desktop node? Do you mean I should use the ubuntu machine
instead?

On your dhcp pool config, network command misses.
