virl2-controller service fails to start

Hello all

I recently installed CML P 2.1 after using Virl1.6 for a while. I applied the 2.1.1 rpm upgrade and then applied all available upgrades and bug fixes under "System Updates" (371 packages in total) but now the virl2-controller service will not start and I can't login to run any topologies.

Has anyone else had this issue? Is there a fix or workaround available?
