Content viewing (mirroring shared content) through the Proximity app on iOS works great but when will that feature be available for windows?

I had to turn off "Noise Suppression" and "Echo Cancellation" under the microphone settings on the computer for the Desktop application to be able to connect to the system. Referenced here as well, https://supportforums.cisco.com/sites/default/files/proximity_for_windows_in_beta.pdf

I am testing the Proximity app right now. My company standard uses HP Laptops and Desktops. Mobile devices are iPhones and Androids. I can get the proximity app to work for the Android phones but I cannot get the App to work on HP Laptop running Windows 7 64bit.
When I hoover over the Proximity Icon, I get:
Proximity: Searching for video systems...
When I right click on the Icon, 5 options are greyed out:
Proximity:
Looking for video systems...
Share your screen Alt+F12
Stop sharing your screen ALT+F12
Select Screen
The options that do show are Check for Updates, Settings, About, Help and Exit.
When I click Check for Updates, I get:
Could not check for updates: Could not connect to upgrade server
