Hello everyone,

We have a bunch of cisco c3750X switches in our network. We are doing IOS upgrade on those.

I have had issue when upgrading our 3850s and had to select an IOS that was not the recommended one by Cisco but several forum users advised on using it as it has less bugs. I had issues with etherchanel when using the recommended ios but when I used the other md version, the etherchanel issue was resolved.

Hence, I am looking for advise please on which IOS to choose for our 3750X - 150-2.SE12 or 152-4.E8 ?

My first pick is 15.0(2)SE12 and my second pick is 15.2(4)E8. 

Don't forget to read the Release Notes (to both versions).

I have tested with SE12. With this installed , Switches come up ok in a stack for some reason. With E7, switches wont come up properly, I had to restart them manually etc to get them up in the stack, Version mismatch etc had come up. And E8 is the recommended version by cisco.

Hence a little confused and wondering if anyone else had any issues like me.
