I’ve been having an issue with Cisco AnyConnect where the connection process is much slower compared to my colleagues.
It takes around 90+ seconds (sometimes longer) just for the sign-in window to appear.
After signing in, it’s another 90+ seconds before the “Connection Successful” notice appears.
Sometimes, after signing in and before the success message, the connection drops and I have to start the whole process again.
Troubleshooting I’ve tried so far:
Disabled IPv6 on the interface and hotspot
Tested different VPN profiles
Fresh reinstall of AnyConnect
Changed network type from Public to Private
Tested on different networks
None of these made a difference.
I did notice in the Windows Event Viewer that acwebhelper.exe (AnyConnect Web Security Helper) occasionally crashes with exception code 0xC0000005 during the connection sequence.
Has anyone else experienced something similar or have any ideas on what might be causing this?
