Behaviour of Cisco ASR1001-X Performance License throughput exceed

Hi Community,

Currently having a Cisco ASR1001-X with default 2.5 Gbps license. Just wondering what is the behaviour exceeding this throughput. Any packets exceeding the celling of 2.5 Gbps will be dropped?

prod-rtr#show platform hardware throughput level
The current throughput level is 2500000 kb/s

Hi Kasun,

Thanks for the information. It did answered the impact on license level

Does interface 10G license include the 10G Performance License? In the show license feature, it indicates as "yes" in right to use column for throughput_10g, which I assume its an entitlement which not been enabled. output attached.
