Hello All,
First time posting.
I have a 9300 that is only a few months old. We originally put it in a stack and then did not need the extra space so we removed it.
The switch is now booting into Rommon with "switch: " prompt and will not boot packages.conf. It reloads twice then ends up back in Rommon.
Mode button is not factory resetting the device, I have tried booting to a downloaded ios.bin file and it appears to install but keeps the old configuration.
I have moved on to trying "emergency-install" however no matter the syntax I try I get "Emergency Install failed - bundle usbflash0:/C9300IOS.bin does not exist"
I have also tried the path without '/' and get the same error. "emergency-install usbflash0:C9300IOS.bin"
I confirm the file is there with "dir usbflash0:" and have been booting to the file with the "boot" command.
Does anybody have any ideas?

The "set" command gave me the information I needed. The switch was still in a 1+1 stack so issuing a "unset STACK_1_1" resolved the issue and I have made 2 clean boots into IOS now.
Appreciate you Leo.

MANUAL_BOOT=yes
SWITCH_IGNORE_STARTUP_CFG=1
These set variables are wrong (for normal switch operation).
