Cisco ISR 4431 IOS upgrade from 17.3.3 to 17.9.4a

Hi All,

I am upgrading Cisco ISR 4431 IOS from 17.3.3 to 17.9.4a.

As per Cisco release notes below, recommended ROMMON from upgrade to 17.9.4a is 16.12(2r) which we are already on but recommended CPLD version showing is 19042950. So do we need to upgrade CPLD before upgrading IOS or not?

Also can we upgrade both IOS & CPLD as per steps in below link or there is any other way or commands?

yes that document steps should work - i genereally use SSH and Upgrade that is easy way.
