That should work as expected . since they are IOS XE
Until unless any commands that mentoned on release notes that depricated you should be ok.
read the Release notes always before upgrade.
Personally what i would do is - Offline take OLD IOS XE config and paste in to new IOS XE code device see all the commands accepted in Lab Environment, to clear our mindset - so no catches while you doing in Live environment
