Does Cisco Smart License require JAVA to be installed on the server?

Hi All,

We are trying to clean up some JAVA vulnerabilities on a server.

I've been able to determine that the "other apps" on the server do not require JAVA be installed.

Q: Does Cisco Smart License require JAVA to be installed on the server?

can you explain bit more? is is cisco server or are you have different server? normally Smart license do not need any java

Totally confused now.

From the reply (above), it sounds like JAVA is not required.  (which would be perfect)

However, a colleague of mine has a TAC case opened, WRT CSLU, in which he asked the same JAVA question.

TAC is saying that JAVA is required.

Is there a Cisco document that outlines the OS requirements when using a Windows Server?
