How can I uninstall Cisco Endpoint without a password? The company that I worked for remotely no longer exists and I still have Cisco Secure Endpoint (from my old job) connected on my personal computer. Since the company doesnt exist anymore, I cannot contact anyone for a password. I've emailed a Cisco frontline agent but they were not able to help me. I need uninstalled urgently because it's blocking access to certain apps and internet access!

I found the following in a post on the community:
"I found out that you have to boot in safe mode. after in safe mode open Notepad with admin rights.
Go to: C:\Program Files\Cisco\AMP
Go to policy.xml, found the following tabs: <passwordex></passwordex> Delete everything from the start of <passwordex> to the end of </passwordex>, save the changes.
and you should be able to uninstall Cisco Amp then"

Other than that I would suggest factory resetting/re-imaging your device as there could be more company-related configuration/software that you might not want to have installed on a device for personal use.

Uninstalling Cisco Endpoint without a password can be tricky, especially if it's admin-locked. One method users try is Safe Mode or third-party uninstaller tools—but keep in mind, this may not always work. For a smoother and secure solution, it’s best to contact your system admin or check SlideShare Downloader Cisco's official support for guided steps. simcity buildit
