install versus Bundle mode- only applicable to IOS XE or it is applicable to normal IOS as well

Hello Team,

Just want to understand, is install or bundle mode is only applicable for IOS XE or it is also applicable for normal IOS as well..

Pls suggest.

Traditional IOS you can install archive install - if you looking some GUI, instead of .bin file.

IOS XE started install mode and bundle mode, since it extract al the iunformation on install mode, so less RAM required as per i know.

IOS tradtional still uses old mode .bin bundled
