Old 1.x is like VIRL with older images = you do not want that! bad images, especially for L2 switch.
All individual image files are stored on or inside of a ISO file. you can open that file and extract image(s).
CML 2.0 came with images stored on ISO DVD-type of file about 6 Gig. That ISO file has images. I think CML 2.1 is the same; I think CML 2.1 ISO file is the same as CML 2.0 but just CML OS file is updated. But I would have to check 2.1 version. If 2.1 comes with 2 files: one is CML vm file and the other is ISO, you will have images.
Note: technically you not supposed to be using CML images on GNS3 or eve or outside of CML per license agreement!

Should be able to download with your CCO account if you have purchased CML
but when CML 2.0 has more features and lot bug fix, why you like to old discontinued product ?

I want to deploy my network on GNS3 so I want the individual images to import on GNS3 , I believe CML 2.0 only has the bundled iso and doesn't have individual image files right ?
