Old ASDM Version is not working my pc and

Hello

I downloaded ASDM to work with ASA gui and it says to old version ...and is not oppening at my pc

A cisco agent called me via webex to further find the problem and troubleshoot why ASDM is not opening but with no luck

Any idea where i can find ASDM latest version to download at my pc ?Because when i click download from cisco it says you need a contrakt id or serial number and i am unable to download it

To work ASDM you need Java, your PC what windows XP, 7 8 or 10 ?

Sure you can not download if you are not entitled to download, also you can not download and work what ever version you like ?

you need to check the compatible version with ASA,

In most case, ASA  has ASDM HTTPs://asaip you should able to get ASDM.

I have installed ASDM from browser but is not a compatible version..(It says to old version on my pc)

++ You are using Cisco Modeling Labs and working with ASAv 9.16, ASDM 7.16(1).

++ Understood the issue that the you are unable to launch ASDM

++ Java version is compatible.

++ Tried running ASDM but we are getting an error like "Windows cannot find.

++ We checked the target location and it was pointing below:

C:\Windows\servicing\LCU\Package_for_RollupFix~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~19041.2486.1.5\amd64_microsoft-windows-scripting_31bf3856ad364e35_10.0.19041.1237_none_bd2b0ef5b58e1540\f\wscript.exe invisible.vbs run.bat

++ Changed the target to C:\Windows\system32\wscript.exe invisible.vbs run.bat

++ However, we got another alert - unable to locate C:\Windows\system32\wscript.exe

++ It seems that a file could be corrupted or does not have the correct name on the root file of the ASDM,

We tried the following changes:

Start > Cisco ASDM-IDM Launcher > right click the launcher and go to More > Open file location

++ Found the shortcut to the ASDM launcher, right click it and went to Properties and look at the Target. C:\Windows\servicing\LCU\Package_for_RollupFix~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~19041.2486.1.5\amd64_microsoft-windows-scripting_31bf3856ad364e35_10.0.19041.1237_none_bd2b0ef5b58e1540\f\wscript.exe invisible.vbs run.bat

++ We replaced the long path with C:\Windows\system32\wscript.exe invisible.vbs run.bat, still it did not work.

++ Checked internally and tried applying another workaround:

C: > Program Files (x86) > Cisco Systems > ASDM and executed ASDM there, no luck.

The problem is this 

I cannot find ASDM version compatible to download for my ASA virtual

ASA virtual works fine in the lab but i want to access it via GUI also witch i cannot because of not compatible ASDM version

I need to find ASDM compatible version to run it on my pc 

I can ping normally ASA and work also with it .But only as virtual and not via GUI

Where i can find ASDM compatible version as i mentioned above in the ticket from your agent ?

not sure what version of ASA 9.16 or 9.16.X to guide you, check below ASDM version compatible :

you need to have contract to download, or contact partner to download.

other methods take full .bin file and search in google.

if you have access to ASA , can you post dir output here see what ASDM in there ?

I have already contacted cisco with no further support or help

if cisco do not have support as you buy product from them, nothing much any one can do here as community we are here to help based on the experience that we have on the product.

I have given a solution before - spend some time and read what we suggested...Good luck ..!

this is not major problem, this more of understanding the issue spend some time reading the document toward a solution.

dir command from ASA  help us, what ASDM installed already in the ASA .

example my ASA  running asdm as below :

I think only use SSL instead of TLS if your PS OS support it.
