Hello,
we would like to make our Access Layer Switches be able to route traffic on layer 3 and we need the option to configure ip adresses on physical interfaces.
Is there a license, that provides this features (ip services f.e.) ?
We want to make Layer 3 connections accross the layer 2 network leading to a central firewall.
We need several different ip subnets connected to each access switch, so we need full routing features

we would like to make our Access Layer Switches be able to route traffic on layer 3 Answer is you can use static route which not need any license
and we need the option to configure ip adresses on physical interfaces. Answer you can by make l2 port l3 port with no swithport command also this not need any license

Hi there,
I have an additional question.
we want to connect two interfaces in a layer 3 redundancy...as far as i know, there is no option to configure hsrp/vrrp on two physical itnerfaces within the same ip subnet.
Is there any possibility to gain L3 redundancy when connection two physical IF ?

Port channel l3
This give you redundacy.
And you are correct you can not use hsrp in two interface in same device (router or switch).
